Whether it’s just a quick “relief” outing with the pooch (remember your waste bags!), a stroll with the kids or friends, a vigorous run or a day-long adventure to soak in the natural beauty of northern Vermont, the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail provides endless opportunities to exercise your body, mind and spirit.
The smooth, crushed gravel surface is easy to traverse whether on foot, wheelchair or bike. Because this was a railroad bed, the grade along the 93-mile route is universally accessible, rarely exceeding a 3% incline.
